Our Story
FtW Construction was built on friendship, family values, and a relentless commitment to quality—shaped by the people who taught us what real work and real character look like.
Gabe and Sean met at 14 years old in middle school. More than two decades later—now both 37—that same trust, accountability, and shared work ethic still define how we operate and how we treat every home we step into.
For Sean, that foundation was shaped early by his late grandfather, Gail Jay Kidd, who served as Chief of the Riverton Fire Department. He set a powerful example of hard work, leadership, and service to the community—values that continue to guide how we approach our work and our responsibility to the people we serve.
Sean carried those lessons into hands‑on roles like hospital facilities maintenance, where precision and responsibility weren’t optional, and collision repair, where small details determine the quality of the final result.
Gabe’s path was guided by equally strong family influence. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, carrying forward the discipline and attention to detail instilled by his hardworking mother, who also serves in the Army. He was also deeply influenced by his late grandmother, whose example of care, loyalty, and love for family and friends still shapes how we treat customers, coworkers, and every project we take on.
For the past six years, we worked side by side installing doors—learning the trade inside and out. Over time, we saw a consistent problem in the industry:
rushed installs, cut corners, and a lack of pride in the finished product.
That’s where FtW Construction found its niche.
We focus on door installation and related work because it’s where craftsmanship shows. Tight reveals. Clean lines. Proper sealing. Long‑term performance. We bring an almost obsessive attention to detail to every project—because that’s how we were taught to work.
We’re a family‑minded business. That means clear communication, respect for your home, and work we’d stand behind years from now—not just on install day.
This isn’t just what we do.
It’s a standard passed down to us—and one we bring to every job.
